Happy to present the 14th Captain of Velokhushi 2016
He is none other then the unflappable Deep Udeshi
Deep Udeshi is an experienced ultra-cyclist well known within the Indian randonnuering(ultra-long distance cycling) community. He loves multiple endurance sports, from cycling to running to badminton. Deep has ridden numerous long distance brevets and ran quite a few half marathons in the last few years. Doing a century ride on a weekday or multiple hundred on a weekend fits very well in Deeps training schedule.
Within the randonnuering community, Deep was honored the status of MAESTRO RANDONNEUR for finishing 5000 kms of Brevet Riding in a single calendar year. In a little less than three years, Deep has clocked over 30,000kms on cycle.
By profession, Deep Udeshi is an engineer from Mumbai University and runs his own publishing house under multiple brands (www.thebigcd.comand www.vibrantpublishers.com ). They build software and books to help graduate students crack national level entrance exams and/or seek a job in the IT industry. Deep currently resides in Mumbai, India with his very supportive wife Avani & awesome 9 year old daughter Dia.
